While we build, your site lives at yourname.bytxt.co. When you're happy, we move it to your real address — and you keep owning that address.
Your domain only points at a live site, so reply PUBLISH to go live before pointing your address.
Two small entries to add at wherever your domain is registered (a CNAME and a TXT). We send the exact values — copy, paste, done.
Once those records take effect (usually minutes), your address serves over a secure https:// connection — we sort the certificate for you.
On some registrars (like GoDaddy) it can be a single "Approve" click — we'll let you know if yours supports it. Not sure where your domain lives? Text us and we'll figure it out with you.
Usually within the hour during the day — often much faster. Bigger jobs like a brand-new page can take a little longer, and we'll let you know if so. We don't promise an exact time, but "today" is the norm, not "next week".

No. There's nothing to download and nothing to log into. If you can send a text message, you can run your website.

You keep owning your domain. We only ask you to add a couple of records that point it at your site — you can point it elsewhere again any time. We never take ownership of your address.
